Job Openings

1. Foreman (Multiple Openings)

  • Employer: Fox Enterprises, Inc.
  • Location: 408 Jason Drive, Ste 105, Richmond, KY 40475 and various unanticipated job sites in the following Kentucky counties: Madison, Fayette, Jefferson, Boone, Laurel, and Clark.
  • DUTIES:
    1. Manage Crew Leads and Concrete Laborer employees daily.
    2. create a weekly schedule; view the work to be done per the contract and drawings for all jobs and work directly with the Project Manager to know the scope of work and answer any questions or concerns.
    3. review the work order for the next day including concrete, equipment trailer, molds, rebar; be responsible for completing the contracted work and ensure all work being performed is to the work order and no work is performed outside the scope of the work order.
    4. understand all the rules and regulations of the company and ensure the Lead and field employees are following them; ensure that the safety of all crew are met, dress attire is adhered to by the crew including proper safety gear and safety footwear, and only qualified drivers or operators are driving the trucks or operating the machines.
    5. ensure that the proper tools and equipment are on the jobsite, which includes ordering concrete delivery per the Project Manager’s instructions; take pictures of job site including all stakes at beginning, in progress and end of each job, and measure each day’s pour and record with a picture.
    6. measure the pour daily and collect and send all receipts daily to the Project Manager; check equipment, check fluid levels and lights, and check that the load is secure and safe; direct workers who spread, vibrate, screed, and float concrete to ensure concrete is compacted to desired consistency and surface is finished to specified uniformity and smoothness; operate skid steer and curb machine.
    7. examine concrete after forms are stripped and give instructions to repair defects; inspect bracing and shoring of concrete forms to ensure their stability before and during pouring; train new employees on the jobsite and oversee the crews who place forms for molding concrete, installing reinforced steel, conveying, pouring, finishing, and curing concrete.
    8. train the Leads on how to operate all equipment and help advance any employees with knowledge from field to Lead; remain on the Job site with field employees at all times; keep the Lead and field employees within the crew abreast on scheduling; engage in customer communication; track time accurately; and report any injury accidents and/or any damage to equipment, trucks, or tools.
  • Requirements:
    Position requires at least three (3) years of experience as a concrete laborer, concrete finisher, or concrete foreman (any title). Requires frequent travel to unanticipated commercial sites in the following Kentucky counties: Madison, Fayette, Jefferson, Boone, Laurel, and Clark.
